“Emily collaborated with us to produce a short pirate film for a competition. Over the course of a weekend we had to write, shoot and edit this film based on an outline given to us by the organisers. Emily bought a real passion for this genre as well as historical knowledge to develop our story further. She gave us the first draft, which ticked all the boxes. Following our feedback she delivered a workable script that fitted our theme and intentions within the very small time window that we had. Her insight was very useful but her desire to create a strong female character was priceless to the project.”
